ADMIN - If possible, it would be convenient for the "non auction" members to be able to turn off the "Auctions Ending Soon" view with the ending auctions. It is starting to get congested on the main page ... just a suggestion.

Is there some sort of archive of past auctions so we can see what things actually sold for? The best way to determine accurate market value is to see what people actually pay for them rather than just going by asking prices.

They will probably be able to do that when they have a big enough database of completed auctions, but they should probably charge a subscription fee to access that information.

Why don't we add a few more columns to the page! If I want to look at auctions, I know where to find them. Change for the sake of change.

On the home page under "Recent Hifi Classifieds" there is a tab for Auctions. :D

I have a question. Is the CAM 2% fee included the PayPal fee? Or it is on top?

Another thing I don't understand is, why so many people complain about it? It is an optional thing. If you don't like it, don't use it then.

This reaction reminds me when the Internet started to boom. When the service provider started to ask for fee to support their business, everyone get piss off. People believed things on internet should be free and free forever. Then we have google and google knows everything about anyone because it is free. Then people blame google invades their privacy but never remember they never PAID a cent for the service. Everything has a price, not everything is free.

Actually, I don't mind the CAM's owner make a few bucks and have better life. After all, they build the site and the community. I just don't want to list my Krell in Kijiji or Craigslist. And more or less, I am just a freeloader.

The 2% fee is taken by CAM and is in addition to (separate from) Paypal's own Fees. This is true for BIN and Auctions, as well as Invoices (which use a smaller 1% fee).
