Has anybody owns or heard the NAD CI 9120 12-channel power amp. It has two toroidal transformers and it's heavy weighing in at 80 lbs. I'm using it right now as an external power amp driving my 5.1 HT setup with NAD T765 as the surround sound processor. The sound is surprisingly good considering.

I googled and it seems to Not be a Home Theater amp, more like and amp for custom configurations that can drive speakers all over the house/building.

It sure is and not only that it's built like a tank and at 80 lbs. bone dry it weigh just like a tank too. Right now it's powering my 7.2 HT setup and it sounded really good just as good as my NAD T765 receiver but with limitless power to boot. Definitely, I'll be using this amp to power my ATMOS 9.2 setup and I still have 3 channels left over to do whatever I want.
