How can you be certain 'rcb_ontario' is Uttley? Doesn't seem like his MO (to have positive feedback)!

Such a small world!!!

I bought my first 2 pinball machines from him roughly 10 years ago.
He was selling on Kijiji with a fake name Stephen Anderson at the time.
When he delivered to my house from Hamilton for a fee, I ended up giving him my Yamaha MX800U for free (I now realize it probably needed a fuse) and a really nice retro chrome fan.

Afterward I discovered his exploits and fake names thru pinball forums.

Websherpa was a prominent character in the pinball world when I was into it btw.

Interesting seeing a thread resurrected almost 10 years later... lol

Only prominent in a small part of Ontario, less prominent than others, and even less prominent now that the market inflated out of control for us average collectors. But I still have a big pinball heart, and am still into refurbishing machines (although it takes me years now), my own collection shrank a bit, and I still have a bit of analog (vinyl + tube) audio equipment set up. :D

Even if this guy was busted he would likely do little or no time and there is no rehab for thieves. Demo first, check it out first, buy in person and make sure what your buying works 100% before handing the cash. If it's a receiver, int amp or amp, ask the seller to switch it on at least half an hour before you come over so you can properly demo it. If there is any issues like a relay issue for example, it will shut down while your there rather than finding out after you bought it. Same with any device, check it out thoroughly and don't rely on having it shipped to you because that is the only way you can get scammed, not buying in person. This guy would be put out of business if all buyers check out the item before buying. Great feedback does not necc mean your not dealing with a thief.
