I showed the video to my grade 11/12 chemistry students today. The only comment I got was "is that cat really singing?". I said "yes, he is very talented." Otherwise just blank stares. I'm glad I'm retiring after this year.

I hear you. And I'd be more concerned about the 1 comment than the lack of others.

"Mom! Dad! I watched a video today where an ordinary house cat was really singing! It was totally rad!"

Oy. Young kids with their heads full of mush. And ready for the transition to higher learning.

That they are. Do you own one? Or should I say, does one own you?

Sadly, no. This is " was " my last kitty. Tigger was a wonderful cat who I haven't figured out how to replace yet. He's buried out back as is Cisco who was his partner in crime.

Sorry to hear about Tigger and Cisco. Tigger looks to be a big softy! Took me 20 years to replace my previous cat Skeater. But I am glad I did. Zelda is such joy to have around, AND is quite the character! I’m getting the piercing “feed me” stare as I type! (she'll be poking my leg shortly!!)

Twenty-two pounds of pure smart-ass and trouble maker, simply the most awesome cat I've ever owned.

22lbs….that’s no cat, that’s a small bear that goes meow! Skeater was also a big b@stard of a cat. Zelda is no small fry either at just over 13lbs for a female.

13 pounds is a big female, that's about what Cisco weighed in his prime. Tigger was part Mainecoon which accounted for his large size ( not to mention that he'd eat almost anything ). :D

Beautiful cats. They remind me of Misty with his big tail. I am still hurting with the loss of Rocky and Misty this year. I have Cinnamon, Laura and Ginger to comfort me so I won't be thinking of getting another cat in the near future. Unless one chooses me.
