Brewing beer. I used to build car models and spend a bazillion hours detailing each one. Beer only takes roughly 8 hours per 37L batch.

Thankfully,I've come to appreciate the value of a more practical hobby

...a bit of a cliche and arguably not a hobby in the strictest sense...but I love to read...daily newspapers, periodicals, essays, reviews, articles, editorials, novels, dictionaries, cleaning product labels, pill bottles, beer bottles, between the lines, body language, facial expressions...you name it!

My other hobbies are done while listening to tunes.

1. Armour model building. Great blast to super detail a Russian Kv-II, spend six months getting just right. Than drive down to some model competition at least 8 hrs away and try to win some award, and talk tanks with other armour modelers.

2. Military history. I am trying to understand the events of WWI social, military and political. Really interesting to find out about the world we live in today and how it was shaped by WWI.

I am a GEEK
