Usher CP6381, I picked them up from a fellow CAM enthusiast for $1675. Best money spent. Added Usher Diamond tweeters and they bloomed. Killer detailed bass, rich mids and clear highs. Early this summer, I spent 3 hrs with Rockport Atria and Avior. If there are any, I can live with my Usher's flaws.

I'd recommend the Tannoy System 15 DMT II (manufactured circa 1992–2000). They're sometimes more than $2K, sometimes less.

In addition to being exceptional reproducers of music, you can drive them with 2 Wpc tube amps, or 2000 Wpc solid-state, or anything in between.

Tannoy SGM15B or System 15 DMT II.

I would go with Tannoy as well. You get good bass and good impact with point source imaging which can't be beat.

Through Spotify premium
Through my I east play streamer with the built in dac $200

Harbeth Compact 7s get my vote :D

Brilliant speaker but never seen if for $2K. Evene damaged ones are at least $2500.

My vote through goes to anything with Proac written on it, especially the Tablette or Response series (as other have mentioned).

I am also hugely impressed with the mighty KEF LS 50 (available new for around $1500).
