Dayton-Wright and Watson Labs should be in there, too.
Also the original Rega speakers were Canadian, made by what became Camber.

You could add Ocellia to the list too. Originally from France, they moved at least part of the operation to Montreal a few years back.
Here's the contact info:
OCELLIA
10950 Av de l'Esplanade
Montreal, QC, H3L 2Y6

Tel : 514 658 4894

If you want to include less common speakers, there's also Bill Perkins of Perkins Electro-Acoustic Research Lab, Inc. out in Calgary:

Here they are. The internet is amazing!:

I have a Pair of Unitron speakers, apparently in some relationship with Miller Electronics. Boy do they look crappy but sound pretty good.

All these brands are such a trip down memory lane, some real beautiful music is re-recreated by these companies.
Does anyone from the Toronto area, remember, in the early 90's, an audio store on Queen St E, or maybe Kingston Road, that was selling a "house" brand speaker...I think the shops' owner was named Tava?...heard them once, but cant remember the sound due to the ugly, and inconsistent satin black paint finish, just distracted me way too much....I wonder whatever came of them...?

Here's two pair I recently acquired on the cheap:
1. Techsonic LS-170 from Montreal 100 watts (minty black grills)
2. Austen Rodec 150's made in Quebec but they don't say where 36" x 24" x 14"

I'm sure someone has already mentioned Paisley Research. I love my AE400's and 500's and my newest addition the .5 while not quite so pretty sure sounds sweet. I also have the ugly stepchild the SPL3000's which are old school rockers! Love anything Paisley!

The Rodecs were made in Montréal all right; somewhere in Park-Ex, St-Michel or Villeray IIRC. A pair of guitar speakers, 4 piezos and a paper cone midrange all from Addison TV Parts on 20th an Jarry. They also made some very popular, kick-ass disco mixers at the time (originally branded Telec and later AMX but some Rodecs were made in Belgium)!

Sound Dynamics are Canadian. I use a pair of R-818s for my primary speakers and I love them. Also, +1 for Clements being incredible. Never pass on a pair if you get the chance to grab some.

I too had the .5's, loved them, and then got these to go with them:

Never understood how these were considered "bookshelf" speakers though unless you lived in a library since they probably weighed 25-30lbs each and were about 2 and half feet tall.
