No don't do that, you need a reference for an alignment and specific procedures ie: service manual.
Alignment is to optimize rf gain, if response, stereo demod and lower distortion at the end, this how to have best compromises done the proper way.

No, I don't have the expertise or the equipment to do this myself. Looking for a good Ottawa tech. It's for a Moon Air and MD Etude.
