Looking for someone in the GTA-Toronto area who can restore 1950-60's tube radios.
Mostly to re-string the dial cord (ouch!)

You don't need to start three identical threads. Any thread started in general audio discussions, regardless of the header banner, will make it onto the main forums page.

I had a local guy, Tom McCartney, do a full repair/restore on a Bell tuner (dates from early 60's). He did a full recap, repair & alignment, a really nice job. Tom's specialty is R2R decks but he does other electronic repairs, he even builds some stuff. He can be reached at tmccartney@sympatico.ca.
