Looking for someone in the GTA-Toronto area who can restore 1950-60's tube radios.
Mostly to re-string the dial cord (ouch!)

I had a local guy, Tom McCartney, do a full repair/restore on a Bell tuner (dates from early 60's). He did a full recap, repair & alignment, a really nice job. Tom's specialty is R2R decks but he does other electronic repairs, he even builds some stuff. He can be reached at tmccartney@sympatico.ca.
