Keep the 2120. I have one, it is my daily driver and is on pumping out beautiful sounds with my 1150 integrated amp at least 12 to 16 hours a day. it beats my 1990 Pioneer VSX-5700S and it sounds awesome too.

keep the one that can pick up far away station, if listening to local station, pretty much all can do that , but some tuners are better for station, like say 100 miles from your area. that is one of my biggest concern , being at 70 miles from civilization, lol.

The question was asked about 29 months ago, I'm guessing he's figured it out by now. :D

Well, I'm currently looking for a tuner to replace one that died, so whatever you decide let me know and I'll buy one of your discards. :D

Don't feel bad, I was about to make an offer on the TU919 till I noticed the date.

Who wasn't? Funny how the audio lust takes over common sense and the English language. Falls into the ' If it's too good to be......' category.

You have a good line on a cheap plane, Che?

I'd keep the Sansui TU9900.. Great tuner but so is the TU919. However, I've not heard the Pioneer.

On that list my Philips AH6731 is #7 and my second tuner the Nikko Gamma V came in at # 43. I guess I did good.

Another great company that went unnoticed here was that little American company that was created in SilverSprings Maryland way back in 1949,McIntosh had a lot of great military grade tuners, firstly introduced in 1957 with the creation of the Mr55a,mind you the Mr71 was probably the most in demand considered as the favorite by most McIntosh listeners!

Sorry , :( I missed the McIntosh on this small screen of mine ,but I didn't notice any tube Mac tuners, although the as ones mentioned are very nice!

Plane crashes aside  , I cant believe the Meridian 104 won 12th spot in that list. Absolute piece of crap in anywhere but UK market where 100 stations were 5 miles away. In Canada or the US? No not at all.

Nevermind that you get 6 stations that have to be set with a screwdriver....
