Is there a web page or discussion board you could point me to for the Beezley/Korner mods?

Hello Bill nice restoration.
I did the same for the exact version of this tuner.
May i point out from your PC board picture, there is some white residues i suspect from contact cleaner or something similar.
I would strongly suggest that this would have to cleaned, this residue is not so good for RF section, i may cause some leakage or some instability.
Alchool wiped clean will do a good preventive thing.

I did also the power supply section with HEXFREDS rectifiers and changed the filter capacitors .
If you ever get annoying tunning frequency tunning difficulties, the multiturn pot at the manual tunning knob is at fault, i had that to replace.

and also Magnum Dynalab is extremely supportive of all of their actual and past products, that by itself justifies the price theses things still worth today....

Otherwise once all upgrades done, it a great very solid performer worth keeping.
Enjoy.

MD just refurbed/modded my FT-101, installed upgraded German caps, new switch block and tuner pot (varactor?) and also Kimber wiring. Sounds great, and will outlast me.

As for MD service, Larry and Jim gave 11 out of 10. Flawless, worth every penny of the very-reasonable fee charged. A credit to Canadian manufacturing.
