Sketches of Brunswick East, a recent release by King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, has got my attention.

Luther Wright and the Wrongs-Rebuild the Wall. An incredible Bluegrass version of Pink Floyd’s The Wall.

SSQ - with Stacey Swain. A cool (but slightly dated lyrics) early electronic/pop sorta thing. I live her voice!

Tonio K--Life in the Foodchain

It may not be that obscure, but none of my circle has heard of it.

Hi,

Oh My! Mae Moore and Lester Quitza. Acoustic guitars and voice recorded on an old school one inch four track in Lester's forest home. Awesome.

Cheers,
David Neice

What a fun album! Listening right now. We are huge Floyd fans in the house; my wife has her internet radio constantly tuned to a Polish radio station where is Floyd all day, every day. This will be an interesting addition! 8)

Taras introduced me to this album.

Humongous stereo sound. Huge space, with good depth. And Joe Williams, an expert at riding a ribbon vocal mike, to perfection, right to it's limits.

Just pulled this down on the Tidal search... Ya man, this is solid, SOLID, stuff. Big sound. Boss players all over the album. Thank you for this.

Ha! That was going to be the album I posted! I'll suggest Tonio K. -- Amerika, Cars, Guitars and Teenage Violence. Different but every bit the equal of Life in the Foodchain IMO.

Anything from John Mills-Cockell . Miles ahead of the times (early to mid 70's)

McDonald and Giles self titled album recorded right after they left King Crimson. If you like the latter, you'll love the former.
