But, imagine the LIFE he had.

I am deeply impressed that at [just shy of] 60 years old he put out the album 'Mojo'.
The track 'Good enough', to me, ranks as one of his finest!

Very sad. I met him once in the 90's. Very smart/funny guy. After a day of crazy big city stress coming home and listening to "Breakdown" on vinyl through a nice tube amp is comfort food for the mind. That man had a full life.

Tom Petty...a gifted songwriter, musician & all around cool mother######. Saw him live back in the summer of 1986 down in Minneapolis. The Grateful Dead open, then Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers do a set, then Bob Dylan does an acoustic set, then Bob comes back out & does an electric set. Bob's band? Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. ####ing unreal. RIP Tom, you rocked this world...
