I so distinctly remember the guy in the three piece suit in front of a stack of heavy hitter receivers. I had that issue as a subscriber of Stereo Review from around '77 or '78 for a year or two. That was the cover and it reminded me of a guy in my junior high, so I had scratched a funny nickname we had for him in the background.

And there were guys who tried to collect one of each...i only have the one on the top. Nikko NR-1415.
His name just has to be '****', or maybe a 'Stan'....

Mt friend's initials were LL. And my friends and I in junior high used to joke that he had halitosis (probably due to his braces). So the name I wrote on the cover was "Larlic Lonion". Tha of course being a play on the guys initials combined with garlic onion. LOL

Wow I was so immature then....

Had those Koss headphones too, along with a Realistic STA-21 receiver. My parents weren't enthusiasts, it was pretty much bought to appease me.
