I have a pair of Old Stax lambda from the 70s

they sound perfectly fine as far as I can tell, but I would like to see it in a better shape

there is corrosion on the speakers and, steel protective mesh is warped, plastic is falling apart, the headband is definitely falling apart

was wondering if anyone had done something like this, or even know where I should start.

I have emailed the stax dealer here in Vancouver, and they never found replacement headband unit for my speakers.

and on a side note, how long do stax speakers usually last if used on a daily basis? and do i ever need to take apart the driver to clean it up?
