Granted on the showmanship level Gavin is no Mike Portnoy or Terry Bozzio...(And this doesn't mean that he is a lesser drummer for it)

I just wanted to shared my view about Tony Levin initial concerns about the rythmic difficulties of integrating 3 drums. He was right on that night.

Again the show was fantastic but the drums gimmick was (in my opinion) clearly overrated.

Don't get me wrong, I will attend the next tour but I'll keep my critical views about Fripp management decisions like ''replacing'' Adrian Belew.... :wink:

I saw the Discipline tour and three of a perfect pair tour.
They were vital, Belew was so good. Bruford had sort of re-invented drum styling with his syncopated mini tom left hand rhythm. Levin was a force and Fripp was Fripp.
I have never felt the need to see them again after that.
