Harry Manx will always have a special place in my Heart,as after my Dad passed my Brother burnt me a pile of Music to bring back to my 2nd Home, and some of Harry's early works were included.
...............................Harry stood out heads above the others, and rang my Chakra's like Chimes!

...He has a stage presence,to me very similar to Bruce Cockburn, both Canadian Treasures through and through!

..........We saw both Harry & Bruce here at our local Hometown Festival in London(Ontario),both amazing close miked concerts, and Harry that evening was accompanied by another Blues Harpist whose name escapes me now,but had just won an award in Ottawa.
Such a fine evening outdoors & such an Excellent performance. One of those evenings no one wanted to end!

We immediately rushed over to buy his cd at that time which was Mantras for Madmen,& and my Daughter and I chatted with him,and he autographed our cd. She was thrilled!
If I remember,he mentioned he lived on Saltspring Island, just down the road from Randy Bachman, either way Harry's Music will Forever remind me of Home.Whatever you do,don't miss that concert!

Attended the Harry Manx concert at Koerner Hall Saturday night.
Full backup band, with a guest appearance by a 4 lady string quartet.
Very talented folks.
A wonderful concert, and Koerner Hall has great acoustics, wish I could see more artists that I like there.

Picked up 2 CD's after the concert in the lobby, Mantras for Madmen and Live at The Glenn Gould Studio.
Should have bought all the ones they had.

Saw Harry in Sharbot Lake (north of Kingston) last night. A masterful performer with an engaging, dry sense of humour. A very, very enjoyable evening. Thanks to the OP and all contributors to this thread for putting him on my radar. Much appreciated.
