Harry may be a west coast denizen but IMHO he's a national treasure, so do not miss him if you get the chance to attend a concert. I've seen him twice in relatively small venues and have a couple of his CD's and highly recommend his artistry.

Taking my wife to the concert for her birthday, with dinner and drinks of course.
First time seeing him live and for this concert hall, it looks like it should have great sound.
Hopefully I can buy a few CD's there.
Looking forward to it.

I saw him at the Banff Center Eric Harvie theater a couple of years ago. Great show! Walked out with a handful of his CDs as well.

First saw him in Guelph a few years ago at a small theatre. Acoustics were perfect and the experience was magical.

Living on the island, I've seen him live a number of times. I also own a handful of his CDs. Imo, he has yet to capture on his CDs what he delivers in person. Highly recommend attending a show of his!

I saw Harry a couple years ago in Vernon in a small venue. He was great. The musical guest for Stuart Mclean.

Koehner Hall has amazing acoustics...maybe the best in the city.
Harry is amazing.
His CD's are so well recorded as well.
He does a cover of Bob Marley's Wait In Vain on his latest album that is incredible.

Love this guy !!!!
Glen

the day before you post this thread, I heard harry manx play Tijuana on radio. it was great and I checked for some of is music on dvd, and ordered 2 dvd. I am sure if it sound as good as that song, it should be a good show , and it should sound great. I am also very happy to see that Toronto have such a great hall. montreal, finish 2 years ago building also a great venu. la maison de losm.
again very happy to see that quality venues made specially for sound quality, start appearing in Canada.
as long as they keep there mind open for great performers, whichever there Genre.

If it was five or six years ago or so, then I saw a performance from the same tour in Prince George - both were great!

Saw Harry 10 years ago at The Glenn Gould Studio in Toronto. The show was fantastic. Glad they recorded it so I can relive it on CD.
