Is there a way to calculate where I should be placing sound absorbers and or diffusers?

Thanks again CAM community.

The one I see most often referenced is the use of a hand held mirror and an "assistant".

One of you sits in the listening chair. The other moves the mirror along the wall (ie in front of the L speaker until they are across from you but still in line with the L speaker) and you mark the area where they can see the L or R speaker.

Do the same for the other side.

Then consider the ceiling for both speakers.

You have ID'd the 1st and 2nd reflection points.

Place a panel at both sites. Listen and see if you like it better.
