Came across this recently and it looks cool - more powerful than a Raspberry Pi. I could see myself using this, and a Pi as a renderer loaded with Moode or Volumio or ??

The ODroid stuff is usually better than the PI's. I wouldn't call this a NAS tho, its only a single drive, you can get like what, 10tbs max from it?

NAS just means network attached storage. 1 drive still meets that definition. The great thing about this is the level of control you have over the os and it's functions. I'm seriously considering this, thanks for the tip, OP.

These Odroid's work great as a NAS. I built a MC1 NAS for my brother-in-law's HT and it works great. The HC2 looks even better. I bought it from a store in Oakville ..........

They are stackable for any extension needs.
