Hi everyone,

We've made a minor but highly useful upgrade to AudioMart that allows you select multiple images at the same time when uploading images to classifieds. Our previous upgrade allowed you to upload multiple images when adding or updating a classified, but you still had to select them one at a time. The newest version of uploading will let you drag and drop a selection of images or select a number of images to upload from a folder in your system.

How it works:

  • Start posting a new ad or edit an existing one.
  • Drag and drop one or more files to the upload box
  • or click "File Upload" and select multiple files with Explorer shortcuts like Shift-Click, Control-Click, and Control-A.

Cool. That will make things a little faster when posting ads...
... and especially when adding photos to an ad at a later date. That process was kinda' clunky and slow....

Thanks.

Can we please have the same mechanism for removing photos as well? It's just as cumbersome as the old way of loading pictures was, before the improvement.

Mike, could you give me some examples where you need to remove a lot of photos from an ad? I'm not sure I see this being a common use case.

For example, after an item has sold or an ad has been turned Off.

That sounds like a fantastic way to remove all evidence in the case of a buyer who has a dispute about the misrepresentation of an item.

If you can use one of those newfangled Internets, you can post photos in your damn classified ads.

One may choose to look at it that way.
However, we can all remove pictures now if we choose to, we just have to do it one at a time, 3 clicks for each photo. I'm just asking for a speedier way of doing it, not because I have nefarious intent.
CAM currently has a photo deletion process in place but perhaps this site should not, at least not until after both parties have left feedback.

My comment was not an accusation, but you can certainly see how such an action could be seen as nefarious. Like admin, I would be interested in hearing a practical reason for deleting photos from a sold ad ... especially when it makes a seller look like he is pulling a fast one.

It is cool

Pleasantly surprised adding images.

BOOM ! I'm done. (Don't tell my girlfriend though)
