New Feature: Import verified Audiogon Feedback Ratings!

We have an exciting new feature on Canuck Audio Mart that launched this week: Audiogon Feedback importing!!

This is something we've been thinking about doing for a few years, but we've always struggled with how to verify that a person authentically owns the Audiogon account they want to list on CAM. Well now we think we have found a simple and verifiable process and now you can reap the rewards!

This is a safe, and easy way to prove your identity and verify ownership of an Audiogon account, and may be especially beneficial for users who have not yet established their Feedback on CAM itself.

Here's how you do it:
  1. Click on the Import From Audiogon button on your account settings page.
  2. A box with instructions will pop up. Visit the link provided in step 1 of the instructions. Sign-in if necessary.
  3. Copy the EXACT subject and body in the instructions to the Audiogon page that you were directed in step 1 and send the message to neoaudio.
  4. After you send the message on Audiogon, please click the "done" button.
  5. Allow 10 - 15 mins for us to verify your Audiogon account. Once your account is verified, your feedback will be updated and you will receive a notification email from Canuck Audio Mart

This is a completely safe way to verify your account:

  • You are not giving us your Audiogon password - you only sign into Audiogon itself.
  • CAM does not have access to your Audiogon account
  • The system will only allow the owner of an account to link that account to CAM.

Don't Forget eBay Feedback Importing too!

Don't forget that a few weeks ago we launched our eBay feedback importing too.

If you import both eBay and Audiogon Feedback to CAM, we show an "external feedback" count that is the total of all feedback you've received on eBay and Audiogon. Here's how it looks when someone clicks on the "external feedback" link in your ads:

My eBay feedback does not get updated very often. It was last updated June 5 when I had a 283 rating. It is now Sept. 29 and I have a 313 rating on eBay. I do not see an option to manually update the rating.

Thank you for reporting. We found that some users might not get updated properly, but the problem is solved now.

I see no provision for Audiogon. Ebay and Paypal only.

It would be nice if you could import your previous identity feedback.

The Import your Audiogon Feedback feature had to be removed; see above thread for the explanation.

Then I am assuming the best move is to remove it from the opening Web Page, as I tried it also... and no luck... than found out it doesn't work...!!

This shows up in the homepage because someone is replying to the thread and it "bumps" it up. There's no way to remove it until this thread stops getting replies and another thread gets bumped.

Thread locked so it will disappear from the homepage as soon as 10 other threads get bumped up.
