...after 4 + years of searching (patiently...which is not my middle name :D )...I've pulled the trigger on a new phono stage...by Friday I should be listening to my vinyl via a Perreaux Audiant VP3. It is by all accounts a significant upgrade from my Clearaudio mini-micro basic...I CAN"T WAIT!!! :lol:

Congrats! .......that mini macro is actually quite excellent phono stage so you will get better,but I bet it will not be that drastic....be sure to post what you find...

I bought mine way back in 2007...never thought of it as lacking...but when I upgraded my amplification in 2009 (including tube stage pre-amp section) I know I lost a wee gain...I'll try to report back objectively! :D
