Live in a house. HT in the basement. It could be across the field in the back and I'd still get yelled at.

No HT for now. Didn't set it up when we moved in and haven't cared enough to set it up.

2 channel both on main floor and in basement mancave.

Main on the ground floor. Second in the basement. Third, in my son's dorm room.

I live in a house and only have a 2 channel system that resides in my main floor family room. There is a TV and Bluray player and PS3 that's all connected to the system, but no multi ch HT.

2 Channel on back Patio (controlled thru my HT receiver using airplay)

It's on the main floor of old stone home in a dedicated 16'x17'x10' room. When we bought the house, my wife painted the room brown and dubbed it "The Cave". She rocks. :)

house is small so no dedicated room until the kids leave . Main system in living room. No HT, just sound bar and sub. Second and most used system opens into the kitchen where i do my work. 3rd older system in future dedicated room in basement with kids tv. Not used much unless i want to listen to Zep 2. The old Klipsch do it better than the rest.

My main 2 ch is also my HT in the dining room. My snooker table is in the living room and takes up too much room to set up a 2 ch system. I am thinking about selling it to make room for a 2 ch system and converting the dining room one to just HT. I have bought another set of panels so that I can make my Acoustat model 4 into a model 8 by adding 4 panels on top of each (in a new frame).

It's just hard to sell the pool table as I really do like to play and the table is one of the ones with black lacquer on the rails and extra thick 2" slate (made in the 60's). I was never allowed to play on one of those in the pool hall when I was younger as they were always reserved for the money games. Now I can play any time I want. Bring your cheque book. :P

basement is the high powered 2 channel system in a comfortable space.
office on the 2nd floor is the 'auxiliary' 2 channel system (more jazz and folk and mellow stuff)
living room ground floor is the HT with the 5.1 surround and earth shattering sound effects.

A house. In the living room, a very crowded living room.
