There must not be a grain of salt between speakers.

Huh?

Geez, it must be getting close to Halloween. Dead threads are now haunting the living. :(

Holiday amp? Consumers' Distributing! Now that brings back memories. I blew up my first one and they exchanged it without question. I thought I was in audio heaven. Sounded great with my Holiday tuner and Webcor speakers. I probably got more pleasure out of that load of shite than I do out of anything I listen to now. It's all about the music, after all!

You can put gear in between speakers, just move speakers into room one to two ft. T.t.can go around corner as long as bass trap in that corner, floor to ceiling trap is best. While on this subject, why use rack at all, sandwich heavy rubber sheet with 3/4 mdf size of needed shelf. Hang on load bearing wall with steel h/ d right angle brackets, and build sandbox for t.t. on it' own shelf, now you will not have room and air born vibration and turn up your vol. as loud as you want and using vinyl, No DIGITAL!
