hi, is anyone familiar with the Glaser Steers turntables (GS-77) circa 1958? specifically value & if worth fixing...any info is appreciated...thanks in advance...david.drake@sympatico.ca

Fairly rare, mostly because it was not very popular in the day; it is roughly on par with a Collaro, lower end BSR or Webcor turntable and well below the quality of a Thorens, Dual, Garard or Elac Miracord changer in terms of quality. In terms of resale value in working condition, they have been going for between $10 and $15 CAN in god working order in recent years. If it is not in working condition, finding replacement parts will be difficult and quite expensive.
