Hello,

As the title say I am in need of one of these. Part no:RM02540220. I know that it is used in quite a few of the 22xx series. I also know that the modern ones don't have a loudness tap on them, but if anyone knows a modern equivalent I would appreciate some info. I hace acquired a 2275 whitout it. The person I bought it from says it worked before the volume pot seized but since i don't have one I can't try to see if that's the case.

I might have other Marantz parts to trade in case that someone wants a trade. I do have a 1152dc I keep for parts.

Thanks for taking the time to read.

It is single shaft (not split) bog standard volume pot, an alps or a noble.

This should be an easy find, compared to some.

one catch, though, it is a 250k pot, with a loudness tap.

Loudness tap is bog standard. 250k for a volume pot, is not quite standard, in today's world.

you may have to do without the loudness tap, until you find one that does.

I just did a quick search and that search and look around ..which tells me that this will not likely be a simple task. that you will probably have to install one as a temp fix and keep looking for one with the loudness tap.

lucky for you, an alps blue 250k stereo volume pot is an easy buy, so you'll get to use something in the interim that is better than the original.

Thank you for you reply. Yes, it looks like I will have to do with one without loudness and keep looking for the old ones.
