The man who does all my vintage work did not know about Canuck.
He has done great work for me in the past 20 years.
His name is Pete and his number is 905-937-3740.

So how old does a technician have to be before he's considered 'vintage'? :P

Is he by any chance a wiz with a soldering iron? I live in Welland and I have an octupus multi-channel pass-through cable that needs a soldering repair on the DB-25 connector end. Do you think he would be willing to take this on?

Does anyone know a cracker soldering guy in the Niagara Region? This is a delicate operation and requires someone with an above average level of experience and skill in the area of solder based cable termination.

Try Jason from Anapolis here in Oakivlle. It is worth the drive Ron. Is Gary not doing repaird still he fixed the bad solder joint on my LP12's Valhalla board.

Hey Babi, that post of mine you quoted is ancient in relative
terms. I haven't owned that cable or the component it was used with for more than two years now.

So how was your experience with Pete? Did he do a great job on your hi end equipment?

You might try Gary at Bettermusic.ca. He is one of the best in North America for LP12s, and he has repaired a lot of old equipment for me over the years. Just a few years ago, he reconditioned and repaired a Bang and Olfusen tape deck that I had. He lives in St. Catharines.
