Just wondering if anyone has any idea what the flat belt size is on a KX-R730 cassette deck
I know it is a FBS (flat belt small) but unsure as to the correct length !

Any help is much appreciated !

You don't have the old one ?

Then you have to measure the path loop with a cord.
(around one capstan, half the other capstan and around motor shaft)
Or buy a belt kit on ebay for $20.

Yammy SM won't tell you the belt length anyway...

TurntableNeedles.com database says 3.6 inch: https://www.turntableneedles.com/find10 ... lect=Model

I've had excellent dealings with the company, and can recommend them. Free(!) shipping applies to Canada as well for small orders, but do read the shipping information for description/ detail...

These decks, KX-R430, 470, 700, 730, 1000, have all the same belt size. Couldn't find the KX-R730 FBS, but found the capstan belt for the KX-R430 instead.
FBS8.6inch
