True dat.

I meant to say that denatured alcohol can be used on pinch rollers etc. but it's definitely not a suitable long-term substitute for a proper rubber cleaner and conditioner. If you do have to use it in a pinch (pun intended...), use it sparingly and don't over-saturate the cotton swab when cleaning rubber surfaces. Then use a clean cotton swab to wipe off any excess alcohol; never allow it to dry if possible.
