I will start recapping my first tube amplifier, an Electrohome sa-40s tube amplifier (6v6 push pull)
Just want to confirm that the multi can capacitors I need are the correct replacement

40-20-20 uF 450V, to be replaced with a 40-20-20-20 uF 500V

100-100 uF 100V, to be replaced with 100-100 uF 500V

Looks reasonable to me...
The higher voltage will mean longer life, which is good. You'll have an extra section in the new 40-20-20-20, which could probably be paralleled with one of the other 20's, but I would need a schematic to suggest which one...

The only caveat is that the metal can's you're replacing have tabs on the bottom to secure them to the chassis, while the new caps require clamps for that purpose, so make sure you order those as well!

Or, if there's enough room order individual caps to install under the chassis and leave the old cans in place.
