We should be proud of dealing this inside Quebec ,not from outside.

Yes funny that Cammers from Alberta start this OP? Indeed but since we are all interested in hifi and stuff I don't mind.
And don't forget people from outside take days off and pay for travel and hotels to visit us, I think we should say thank you!

One thing for sure criticism help Chester to move away for now?

This shows that bigger organization with no interest other ca$h is very evident.

But again we will have a show and THAT's what is the most important and that we encourage this event locally to keep it alive every year.

I think it speaks volumes about the character of the people who organized it, and Montrealers/Quebecers in general. Good on them!

Good on those involved who are making this happen.

Looks like our friends at Stereophile took notice:

Glad to see the former organizers stepped up at a critical time. :D

Found out about the issue last night, doing my last minute preparation, driving in to Mtl re road closures, checking my hotel confirmation and parking. I had previously visited the Grant Fidelity web site where I found no mention of them attending SSI which was strange, I then went to the SSI site to confirm that GF was not going to be there only to become incredulous and disheartened on the news of this cancellation.

So let's give it up for the Mtl audio community heroic rescue of the SSI. I very much hope that the organization of the SSI will remain in the hands of Montrealers .

Thank you, Bravo, Bravo, Bravo
