Decent poll, but allowing only one choice is too limiting. I would venture to guess that most CAM members acquire their music from multiple sources. I know I do.[/quote]
+1.

I buy CD's from amazon, occasional Vinyl from Mom & Pop, and get quite a lot from the Public Library.

I purchase my SACDs, DVD-A, Bluray discs on Amazon, eBay, CDJapan. Great selections and unlike hit and miss vinyl you always get great sounding material.

Fellow CAMers, where do you get your music?
Select a choice in the poll, I'm curious as to what the results will be.

Today I wandered into the local music store to browse, ended up walking out with some new music and a smile on my face.
I came to realize that there is a genuine pleasure in the face to face experience of buying music.
Don't get the same pleasure when clicking a purchase online, even though it may save me a few bucks.

To each his own I suppose. Not having to deal with a salesman would be worth a few extra bucks for me.
