whatever was designed by the engineers to fit the listening space.
Why would a Ferrari have a radio?

I have driven/pass in a few Ferrari's, the radio would have to be so LOUD that its stupid, the car is loud enough.

Ferarris and Lamborghinis have radios for the same reason that every car has a radio these days: for the GPS touchscreen to guide them to corner store! Ferarri currently uses Harman Kardon and Lamborghini uses Kenwood as their respective radio suppliers.

The 360 Modena that I drove with the owner may have had a radio, but it sure didn't have a driver's tube.

Is there not a Mark Levinson sound system option on a Lexus SC400? (not sure about the model)

well havent seen anything of the like here in this neck of the woods
as the roads would beat them to shyte

but am now trying to install a thorens turntable into my ford ranger
just between the seats
have a couple sets of minimus speakers that are welded to the roof
facing back
should be an interesting install

I owned a 2001 Subaru Outback with a McIntosh system, very very good but I think they exited that market since.

Beetleman, you may think its funny, but they actually had car radios (for motorhomes) with phono inputs back in the 80s and Technics had 12V Linear Tracking turntables that could be installed vertically too (the SL-5 and SL-15 IIRC)!

Down in the U.S. Volkswagens can have an upgraded Dynaudio system. Reviews seem to be good but I don't know how decerning the reviewers are compared to us guys with sweet home systems.
