It's awesome... I just love the darkness of the story and the lead character is brilliant....

Incredible show. I was actually considering starting a topic here but you beat me to it. The snippets of live music performance are unreal. Those are some serious blue and rock artists. If only you could walk into any local bar today and see quality like that.
This show is a music lovers dream. Peppered with wicked performances.
Love the intensity of the show, non-stop, never a dull moment.
Kinda funny when I saw the show and heard all the wicked live music I thought of posting to inform CAM members and all music lovers in general. Turned it on by chance and was hooked from the initial few seconds of the first episode.

Episode three last night did not disappoint. I don't think I have ever waited so impatiently in anticipation for a another show.
Excellent cinematography, sound quality is unreal as well, totally three dimensional and sweet. Feels like you are right inside the soundscape.
The sets are so period and realistic. Like going into a time machine and coming out in 1972 Memphis, every tiny detail is perfectly realized.

Of course the blues singer is a hitman. Hot naked women, wicked music and general all around nastiness in every episode. What more could one ask for?

For one thing, allowing Ladytron to play out the psyche finale in the gay bar.

As the first few notes of the closing song played, I said maybe Iris Dement?..wife says, nope, Dolly Parton...

...a weirdly funny thing happened to me last night after watching the episode...I threw on Tales of Mystery and Imagination and woke up to the sound of the inner groove repeating...terror gripped me as I thought for an instant I was trapped inside a Quarry scene..."honey...put that pot away...please...but I will have another scotch..." :D

This sounds and looks like a great show…the main actress was in Bomb Girls, and Peter Mullen was in a lot of movies. Is this available on Netflix? or just satellite tv?

Ok, so you are getting it either from tv (cable, satellite) right now or streaming HBO online I'm thinking. The reason I ask is because I am hoping to change my internet service here once SaskPower is done, to broadband, and would be able to use a service such as Netflix or maybe be able to stream live online HBO if possible. I know Netflix will run a lot of HBO stuff. Might have to wait a year.

Anyway, the clips look awesome, and thanks for letting all of us know…...
