I really enjoyed this documentary when I saw it about two months ago. It was done by Tom Hank's son Colin Hanks. It made me nostalgic to hold a record album again but to not actually listen to it (I am a digital guy). But it did bring good memories when I was an album collector.

I have been to Tower Records in Tokyo and in Osaka as they are still going strong.

...to be clear though...it's not an ode to vinyl...it's an ode to a protracted period of selling/buying music via physical media...

I've often wished for a similar documentary on Sam Sniderman of Sam The Record Man. I have many fond memories of the various Sam locations that I had visited starting in the early 70's.
All things must pass is a great peek at the music retail business of years gone by. Loved it.

Yes I did try Amazon, sadly nothing there. Like you the only thing I found was the YouTube teaser.
