In case CAM'ers haven't seen this

TV Ontario has some great on line documentaries.

There is amazing wealth of material here - totally puts to shame Commercial TV stations

Here is one on Modern Architecture

This one is quite interesting
Many of the reigning European Monarchs, when WW I started, were grandchildren of Queen Victoria

I think you are thing of Vinyl by Alan Zweig. I know it did not paint a good picture of LP collectors but many of the ones he chose were disfunctional hoarders (he was merely disfunctional). None that I could see had nice systems.

My time with a few audiophile groups mirrors some of this difficulty with real relationship etc. I have always tried to find the balance but the existence of a new local record is testing my resolve.

I am also a big fan of TVO documentaries and have watched many on a diverse range of topics. Love the ones on architecture.

We saw a movie on TVO a couple weeks ago called Low Down Tracks. A doc about homeless musicians in T.O. that was excellent. TVO is pretty much my favourite channel, bar none (and it's great that we can all get it OTA)!
