1 Great Performances
2 Excellent Sound

Well, not the ZZ Top one. I saw them back in their prime(early eighties) and it was phenomenal. In this release although they are certainly giving it their all, sometimes that's just not enough. Of course I'm sure someone will post that they disagree with me, but as far as I'm concerned it's a little sad to see, these once great artists, hanging on just for the paycheck.

I have a fair few....here are some of my good ones for you.

1) The Police: Certifiable, amazing PQ and stunning AQ with killer bass.

2) Stevie Wonder: Live at Last from London, excellent PQ and AQ, not as heavy bass but good. A few tracks I skip thru, but overall, well done.

3) Earth, Wind and Fire & Chicago, super long show, fantastic PQ and AQ.

4) Ramsay Lewis presents: a mostly Jazz/fusion show with lots of different artists, PQ and AQ are some of the best I have heard.

5) Not a concert but "Walk the Line" has some great old Rock and Roll tunes with stunning AQ and gobs of well defined taught bass.

6)Roy Orbison: "Black and white nights" 8 and 16 mm super grainy B&W film with great detail but still one of the best out there for amazing AQ and a must own if you like the old R&R.

Enjoy!

It's a Duesy, cow.

As in being likened to a Duesenberg automobile.

Doozy works fine, I figgur.

Cheers!

Jeff Beck without a doubt. Good quality sound and video. The performance is amazing, never seen anything quite like it.

The Police Certifiable is top notch quality, maybe the best, but their performance is just plain boring in my subjective humble opinion.

Dave Matthews is the highest rated one at AVS.com
Performance does not count in their ratings, thats left for the user.

I just purchased the Oppo 83 SE blu ray player.
What a great unit as most of you are already aware.
I am now looking to purchase some blu ray concert DVD's.
I purchased Bruce Springsteen's new one.. London Calling Live In Hyde Park.
Any suggestions on great sounding concert DVD's on Blu Ray?
Thanks Glen

I am not a huge fan of Chris Botti (or even concert videos in general) but have seen this one several times and it is fantastic - amazing sound and musicianship:

Check out "Carlos Santana Presents Blues at Montreux". Great blues performances from Bobby Parker, Clarence 'Gatemouth' Brown, and Buddy Guy.

The best I've seen so far is Queen Rock Montreal. They're not exactly my favorite band but I was absolutely mezmerized by the performance of Mercury et al...
