There are others I am sure but Nico's The End popped into my mind immediately

that cold harmonium and that sepulchral voice...that is what makes it.

produced by John Cale (of V..U fame, not JJ) - anyway ever collect any of his LPs?

I listened to The Marble Index by Nico the other day, and I was waiting for the feedback that she was crying about not getting on Chelsea Girl. The feedback never came and it was a big disappointment. Chelsea Girl, despite its folksy appeal, has some electric appeal and is much better, IMHO.

Okay, odd album that should have been better (from my collection.)Intergalactic Touring Band. Arthur Brown, Rod Argent etc., so, some good personnel. Frisbee-worthy.

Had a look in the collection yesterday and found this:

Artist: Die Tödliche Doris
Album: " "

Pretty intense artsy, DIY, post-punk, noise band from Berlin.
Each song is a different type of delirium. This is supposed to be their most listenable album.
Look it up for fun.

Had a peek on discogs and found out my Zickzack first edition is worth over a hundred !

It has sort of a cult status and has even been reissued in the past.

Hold on to your weird stuff !
