Was listening to Ruth White's Flowers of Evil and just wondered what's the strangest recording in your collection?

Bought a box set History of Motown from Sonic Boom a while back. Was disappointed to find there was a commentator before every single track, which sucks.

Who wants it? $20

Hybrid Kids - A Collection Of Classic Mutants.

As soon as I heard this in the QC booth, I knew I had to snag me a copy.

I mean, how can you not love a tune called "god save the lean/pretty bacon". Classic indeed!

Venom on a K-Tel record label. We all know K-Tell promoted music to the masses, nothing too extreme – a lot of pop oriented genre’s for the whole family to enjoy. But Venom? A group that was full of controversy that they were banned from countries due to their satanical lyrics!!

Despite already owning the music that was on this disc, I bought for it’s rarity (or at least I thought it was rare). Opening it up I discovered there was 2 of the same disc’s inside. The jewel case offered nothing of importance so I returned it with one of the disc keeping the other.

There are others I am sure but Nico's The End popped into my mind immediately

that cold harmonium and that sepulchral voice...that is what makes it.

produced by John Cale (of V..U fame, not JJ) - anyway ever collect any of his LPs?

20 years with CJOB
-circa 1966

This recording contains the sound highlights of 20 years of broadcasting of CJOB in Winnipeg. The voices and events of the past 2 decades are reproduced as they were originally broadcast to Winnipeggers. You'll hear actual flood reports from May, 1950, the voices of 20 year veteran radio personalities, George McCloy, Dudley Patterson, and such programs as "Gems From the Shows", "Club 1340", "Ladies Choice", the "Night Owl", and that unforgettable character, "Forest Fred".

Track list:
A1 –The Raftsmen: This Land Is Your Land
A2 –George Tremblay: Wouldn't It Be Loverly
A3 –Doug Crosley: Dear Heart
B1 –Giselle McKenzie: You Are My Lucky Star
B2 –Carl Tapscott Singers: Now Is The Hour
B3 –Ellis McLintock: Will You Still Be Mine

It's a toss up between " Moms Mabley and Pigmeat Markham" and " Phil Minton, Solo"
