I generally prefer Studio versions of songs, but, some live shows really hit the mood well and come across much better than the studio versions.

I always thought Frampton Comes Alive was a perfect example. Maybe not the best fidelity - but, the songs are WAY catchyier than the studio versions.

And Neil's Massey Hall sounds like you're right there in the audience. Excellent recording.

listened to that one a lot as well. Bought the bluray also, quite the amazing story behind that show.
