Prog reunion (and such):

GONG - I SEE YOU (yes! return to pure 70s Gong, most are origional members
STRAWBS (even though all re-hashed material .... yes!)
COLOSSEUM (no. exceptional musicianship but the style has become something different.)

And, of course, all the Italian prog reunions were strong ones.

I'll have to look into that Gong release. I'm a lifelong Strawbs fan too, so another one to look for.

Thanks for bringing these 2 to my attention.

Gong have been releasing weak cds for two decades now.
This one is a return to true form, for sure!

Okay- Baggs lied, not all the members are origional, but, if that is not Hillage on guitar there, that is a perfick imitation.

For me, 2014 was an incredible year for music. Here are some of my favs:

Ben & Ellen Harper - Childhood Home
Jack White - Lazaretto
Fred Pellerin - Plus tard qu'on pense
Bear's Den - Islands
Bobby Bazini - Where I Belong
Damien Rice - My Favorite Faded Fantasy
Joe Bonamassa - Different Shades of Blue
Lisa Leblanc - Highways, Heartaches and Time Well Wasted
Benjamin Booker - Benjamin Booker
Asgeir - In the Silence

Hoping for a great 2015!...and some say there is no more good new music

Hiromi - Alive

Jazz power trio that also will appeal to some of you proggers and fusionistas, with Anthony Jackson, bass (Steely Dan, Paul Simon, Chick Corea) and Simon Phillips, drums (Toto, The Who, Judas Priest, David Gilmour).
