There a very popular thread on the latest LP pickups.
I thought I would start one for CD's, SACD's.
I just picked up two amazing SACD titles.
Donovan..Stoyteller.. A Steve Hoffman remaster.
All I can say is ..amazing. The acoustic guitar and voicals sound so real.
It sounds like Donovan is in my music room.
The other title is the SHM SACD of The Rolling Stones..Sticky Fingers.
Expensive but...it is, in my opinion, the best sounding CD / vinyl release of this title.

I hope the covers aren't too graphic, there are more gory ones out there.

I had them on vinyl but could resist the CD's at that price to load on to the ipod.

Jerry is an amazing player and guest artists are Clapton, Paul Simon, Mumford & Sons, Alison Krauss.

Pretty good rock band butafter around 6 tracks, the songs all begin to sound the same to me.
Freeman Dre & The Kitchen Party..Old Town
Their second release.
Roots band, kinda fun.

How do you like the Ron Sexsmith ?
I was very disappointed.
I find it over produced with too much instrumentation that takes away from Ron's performances.
I have seen Ron live a couple of times and I wish he would do in the studio what he does live in terms of arrangements.
I would love to see him do a completely accoustic album.

Hi Glen.I really like this cd but i have nothing to compare it too as i just started to get into Ron sexsmith.I love his voice and i agree it would be nice to hear a acoustic album from him.Your lucky to have seen him live.I just recently seen one of my idols live at the imperial theater(John Prine).I was in awe the hole time.
