Ok folks, any info on this remaster? Better than the original? Worse? Same?
I'd like to get a copy and this seems to the most readily available option, but I don't really want a nasty brick-walled remaster.

Haven't heard the remaster but my original Opal/Warner sounds exquisite. Fantastic music as well .... my fav Lanois offering and a regular spin in my system.

Funny, just got the special ed. version from the library here and it did sound very good,... with a few different versions, demos of some the songs.

Not brickwalled, (see pic) sounds very similar to the original, but I think the original sounds a bit gritty after listening to the Gold Top
