I have a whole collection of Aerosmith including bootlegs, all mint!
They have thick plastic over the album covers and look new.
All the older Aerosmith era 1975 or so.

Hello, the record want list's and swap Idea is a great and much needed concept. I think though that more information needs to be given about the records your searching for esspecially classical. For example the label, conductor, orchestra etc. As I possibly could help someone find that piece of elusive vinyl as I have 20,000 records and lot of uncommon labels. It becomes problematic without more information as I may have 10 or 12 different labels of a certain artist performing in 10 different concert halls that are conducted by 10 different conductors etc. Get my point as each are sought after for different qualitys. Some prefer different concert halls like Boston symphony hall as it is ranked by some as having the best acoustics others may prefer a different conductors version. Some may want both of these qualitys but only on certain labels. So any extra information would be most helpful in helping to narrow down the possibilities. If you are new to the game it's great to have you aboard, so if your not sure that's fine as I'am sure one of us on Canuck could recommend a certain piece of vinyl that would be meet your needs. Sorry if I got carried away but it will save us a lot of time in the end,Cheers

You are a man after my own heart, I'll tell my wife about your collection. Your idea about lists is a very good one.

perhaps I can take a look for a piece of database php driven software to do this stuff for us. That way people can get detailed as possible about their LP's and also everyone can keep track on where their collection is travelling to.

I would not mind hosting it on my site for a while.

I do not really have the time to look into detail on this over the next week. But after then I can see what I can find. I know there is software that does this for movie collections. So perhaps tweek it.

Sono would the 12" single version of Pure Energy do?

I would be intersted in trading for 12" singles. I would like some funk or old dance stuff. For exchange I have LPs.
