Yes, but why only at 44.1 KHz ??

Next release may be 24/96 DVD...

then after that 24/192 Bluray.

and so on.....

Makes marketing sense really. First 16/44.1, now 24/44.1, soon 24/96, then 24/176.4 or 24/192. They can see fools on the hill who will keep stepping up to higher resolution. Never mind that the original tapes of the early stuff had a frequency range of 30-15,000hz which is more than covered by the bandwidth of remastered 16/44.1, :lol:

I just went out and bought a real apple instead. I went with a Granny Smith and just shoved a 16GB USB flash drive into the apple. All Flacs, all the time. Now I just have to replace the apple once every few days cause they do rot so.. :lol:
