Gutwire Chime 2 from Rega Saturn to Cary SLP98 pre, same as from the phono stage to pre and from pre to amps.

Neotech NEI 3004. Got from Take Five Audio and they are very smooth but not rolled off. I like the OCC copper signature and these relatively inexpensive cables fill the bill.

Steve, that is a pretty hardcore choice. I use the much less expensive Blue Heaven because it is really there - fast clean, natural without a hint of grain.

I am using Cardas Clear digital between player and dac and Golden Ref. for the other connections. This is by far the best result that I have been able to get out of my system so far. I am also using Gutwire Chime 2 in a 2nd system that is very good. When compared, I find the Cardas slightly better in my setup, but could easily live with the Gutwire.

Teo Audio Game Changer

Why? Because of the how it makes my system sound.

Babi I like all of the Nordost cables from top to bottom. I worked for a Nordost dealer for many years and I auditioned many different ic's, speaker cables and power cords in my system and it's easy to hear incremental improvements as you work your way up. I had Blue Heaven and Red Dawn cables in my system for several years and was very happy...until I realized how much money I would save by moving up the line and purchasing cables directly from Nordost under their dealer employee Personal Use program. I just couldn't resist.

Actually the Freys' weren't that expensive; I picked up two 1-meter pairs for $850.00 CAD here on CAM last year; MSRP was $960.00 US. I think the Norse 1 cables represent some of the best values on the used market. When Nordost inevitably unveils the Norse 3 lineup in the not-too-distant future the Norse 1 prices will continue to tumble and the current Norse 2 cables will become more affordable as well.

NORDOST FREY XLR ......

Why?

Simple.... it was the best performer in my system at its pricepoint strata, selected from a large array of contenders and pretenders

Don’t skimp at this point. What you lose at the source is lost forever. I also use the TEO Gamechanger interconnects. They seem to transmit every detail with perfect timing.

Kimber PBJ with locking WBT's --- good enough for my ears... atlas something between the Squeezebox and CDP acting as DAC (HDCD capable). That's in the 'office' system, not sure what's linking the pieces in the 'main' system.

To the OP,

I've been using Acoustic Research (AR) Pro Series "HT-130" interconnects from my sources (CD, DAC) to my preamps for close to 20 years. Recently I've been using Blue Jeans LC-1 Low Capacitance interconnects from my preamp to my amps.

I highly recommend Blue Jeans cables.
