Ultralink was once a part of XLO Cables, but no longer. The Ultralink brand is now owned by Gentec International. They are trying to revive the line.

My understanding is the opposite. XLO Electric was purchased by Ultralink.

Founded in 1990 by noted cable designer Roger Skoff, XLO Electric gained notoriety within the high end audio underground for its unusual looking, high performance analog interconnects. The company eventually successfully broadened its product offerings with additional audio, video, digital, and power solutions, and, in 2002, was purchased by fellow cable producer Ultralink.

I believe Roger Skoff is no longer with XLO. XLO was originally based in California however their headquarters is now located in Markham, Ontario

They appear to be defunkt, which is a shame because they made a good product. Apparently the owner died in a motorcycle mishap in 2008 and the company has been kind of rudderless since then.

Ultralink is not defunct either.

Not much information, but the line is still available. The link in a previous post is dead.
