ive got wyred for sound dac 1 it has a usb input on it whats involved to play back music from computer to my home stereo

you need a USB A to USB B cable. there is a max length for it to work. If over 5m then you need a powered hub and a second cable.
you'll need a driver for the dac if you have a pc. the dac should have come with a cd with the driver, otherwise likely a download from the W4S website.
make the cable connection, instal the driver and look at your sound output device on the computer. The dac should appear; if not ensure the dac is on.
select the dac as your output device. ensure the connection from the dac to your stereo and select a tract to play.
this is the basic for getting going.
file format, player software etc is wide open to explore.

I would suggest meeting up with a fellow Cammer or audio nut that uses a PC for audio. One sit down and explanation of how things work can do wonders for the transition. Since you are in the GTA there must be some brains to pick in your area.

Install the Driver before you connect the DAC to your PC. Less hassle :wink:
